Yes, that prayer was such a surprise favorite for me! Every time I need a a good reminder of where I stand I turn to it. As for the white knuckle faith, I'll be praying for you! Please be praying for me.
I'm at the tail end of a truly fruitful project and with that comes a sense of emptiness and fear. A new year without a project to keep me going??? But I know this too will pass. I've been through enough spiritual and creative desert periods to know that these times are fruitful in their own ways. So instead of fear I need to nourish myself with some of the things you suggest. More time with God (for me it's being outside with animals and getting up in the dark to read the Bible etc. Thanks for the reminder that God never changes and he's here for our journeys!
You're so welcome and sorry for the delayed response. Catching up from being sick is no joke! And yes, God is present for our journeys. Love the idea of getting up in the dark to read the Bible!
So thankful that God never changes, even though we do - for better or worse. So thankful that our Father never abandons us. Never stops loving us in spite of what we do. So thankful for His grace and forgiveness. Without it life would be so difficult. So thankful that when others won't listen to us He will. So thankful that He cares where we are and what we are feeling. So thankful we can talk to Him anywhere, anytime. So thankful for you and your willingness to expose your struggles, feelings, emotions. So many internalize and dive deeper into the rabbit hole. Appreciate you. Love you.
I love that prayer! I may need to print it out for myself. And I can definitely relate to the white knuckle faith bit as well...
